Special Edger
No.00(0.4mm)/No.0(0.6mm)/No1(0.8mm)/No2(1.0mm)/No3(1.2mm)/No.4(1.4mm)/No.5(1.6mm)/No.6(1.8mm) are assembled on Specially made Wooden Handle.
It is sold with a Polishing Compaund to deal with poor sharpness.
Please use it as your own original tool that you cannot find anywhere else.

These are the tools that we created in wanting you to be able to sharpen your tools easily when you feel the blade dullness.
It is especially designed for professional craftsmen who sharpen their blades frequently.

The points to be considered when developing this product are
1. to make the blade flat as the Skiving Knife (Japanese Style)
2. To increase the blade width to 8 types.
3. The blade should have a gently rounded shape.

The back of the blade is flattened, so you can sharpen the blade in the same way as you sharpen a Skiving Knife (Japanese Style).
The blade is smaller than that of the Skiving Knife (0.4mm ~ 1.8mm), so the sharpness of the blade is quickly restored.
The Edge Beveler is available in 8 different sizes, the largest in the history of the Edge Beveler.
It can be used for a wide range of applications from small items to horse saddle production.
The gently curved shape allows you to work while placing your fingertips on it, so you can feel as if you are cutting with your fingertips.

①Ebony has a natural color and the natural wooden handle can be colored in Tan, Mahogany or Walnut.
Only the Ebony handle has two lines on the lower part of the handle.

②The cap on the handle is made of brass. It is made by hand on a one by one basis and there is a line on it to improve the appearance.
And also, the caps are fixed with tiny nail of brass.

③For your reference, ③is our standard color.

How to resharpen the blade:
Put Polishing compound and a few drops of oil on the back side of the leather and rub the compound with the oil. Pull off the blade on the leather and polish the blade.
If you can’t get the sharpness of the blade, you can use Water resistant paper (#1,200), adding some drops of water on the paper, pulling off the blade part on the paper.
You can sharpen with a whetstone or Water resistant paper like a leather knife over and over again.
