【Characteristics】
1.【Water based leather dye is highly concentrated and dyed darkly in a single pass】
The concentration is three to four times higher than that of other companies' water based leather dye products.
Therefore, Leather is dyed darker in one dyeing.
The dye is so thin in density that it has eliminated the need for multiple coats.

Tanned leather always contains oil.
When leather is dried with multiple coats of dye, the oil is removed and the leather becomes hard and loses its original texture.
Therefore, it is essential to dye with fewer times.
We aimed to create a water-soluble concentrated dye that does not damage the texture of the leather.
If you want to lighten the color, you can easily dilute it with water.


2.【Good dyeability and excellent color development】
When other companies' products are dyed, the leather does not absorb the water immediately and is repelled, resulting in many uneven colors.
One of the causes of uneven color is due to the low dye concentration, but the poor water absorbency of the dye is a major factor.
We arrived at the idea of reexamining the balance between acid and organic solvents from scratch as a dye that can easily soak into leather.
It is made with a balance of acid and organic solvent that does not repel dye on leather, absorbs water quickly for good dyeing, fixes color immediately, and has outstanding color development.
The water absorbency and coloration during dyeing are completely different from other companies' products, so please compare them.


3.【No sour smell】
Other companies' water based leather dye had a peculiar sour smell like vinegar.
This smell lingered on the leather, and the smell spoiled the work we had spent so much time on.
In fact, the sour odor is caused by acetic acid.
Acetic acid is very inexpensive and is often used in inexpensive water-based dyes.
Out of a desire to improve quality over price, we have developed a water-soluble dye that does not use acetic acid.
No sour odor due to the use of a proprietary organic acid.


4.【No iridescent glare after drying】
When we applied the other company's product over and over, for some reason, an iridescent-like glare (bronzing phenomenon) appeared on the surface of the leather.
Even the most beautiful and time-consuming works were cheapened by unintended iridescent glare.
The cause of this glare is largely due to the difficulty of the dye soaking into the leather.
The new product has good dyeability and quick water absorption to the leather, which eliminates all of these problems.

5.【Color does not fade over time】
The black color of other companies' products will fade (fade) extremely after about six months of being applied to the leather.

Until now, no manufacturer has made three colors of black using water-soluble dyes for leather.
Black is a very frequently used color for clothes, bags, shoes, etc.

Have you ever seen the fading of vintage riders (leather jackets), where the same black color can be Bluish Color or Redish Color?
In fact, this is a human characteristic, with blue eyes making Bluish Black seem darker, and dark eyes making Redish Black seem darker.
The black color of products from Europe, America, etc. is mostly Bluish Black, while the black color of products from Asia, etc. is mostly Redish Black.

7.【Water based leather dye to match the color of MBT waxed thread】
I had never seen a water soluble dye that matched the color of the yarn before.
Edge Paint, which is like acrylic paint (pigment-based), is common.
Pigment on leather edges can ruin a leather product by making it look like a plastic product.
We wanted to create a Water Based Leather Dye that could be dyed on the grain side, edges, and flesh side of the leather, and that would also match the color of the sewn thread.
We made it to match the color of our best-selling MBT waxed thread.
We can make Leather Edges with the core dyeing process (penetrating dyeing), in which the leather is dyed from the tanning process.
