Until now, the main tool for drawing guide lines for hand-sewing leather was the Wing Divider for steel.
Hand Sewing Divider was developed exclusively for Leather Craft.
We aimed to create a tool that allows you to easily and accurately draw lines at any time.

Wing Divider for steel had disadvantages.
1. When drawing a line, it comes off the edge of the leather and damages the leather.
2. The sharp tip cuts the leather when drawing a line.
3. The stitching of the work is not stable because the width is determined every time the line is drawn.
4. Due to the structure of the Wing Divider, the width cannot be fixed.


【Characteristics】
- About the blade width -
Six blade widths suitable for hand-sewing of leather (2.0mm/ 2.5mm/ 3.0mm/ 3.5mm/ 4.0mm/ 5.0mm) are available.
By fixing the width from the beginning and eliminating width adjustments, all pieces can be sewn at the same width.

The following are guidelines for use.
Hand sewing divider = Diamond hole punches
2.0mm = 2.5mm/ 3mm
2.5mm = 2.5mm/3mm
3.0mm = 2.5mm/3mm
3.5mm = 4mm
4.0mm = 5mm/6mm
5.0mm = 5mm/6mm

- About guide and Divider -
The height of the guide and divider is intentionally changed.
By having different heights, the lines do not shift when drawn, so they do not damage the leather.
The trouble of the line drawing coming off Leather Edges and the lines becoming misaligned has been eliminated.

- About the imprint -
Pitch width (mm) and MADE IN JAPAN (proof of OKA Factory production) are imprinted.

- About Tempered and Black Coating -
Tempered finish is applied to the entire surface to increase metal hardness.
Improved wear resistance makes the tool last longer.
The entire surface is coated with a black coating to prevent rusting.

- Non-slip protection -
The handle (60mm) is equipped with non-slip protection.
The hand does not go out of alignment, so accurate line drawing can be performed.
